Background

Every day Nav meets employers who need people and job seekers who want work. Hiring events are one way to help them find each other: Nav invites employers with real hiring needs and job seekers they can actually hire, with extra focus on young people and people without work experience.

Planning and running these events is a job in itself. Rekrutteringstreff is the digital tool for the advisers and employer contacts who do that job.

The challenge

Early product work means a lot of open questions at once. What do the advisers really need? What can go wrong for the people involved? Which problems are worth solving first?

It's tempting to jump straight to screens. The job was to make sure the team understood the problem together before deciding on solutions.

What we did

• Led processes and workshops in the team
• Developed ideas, concepts and prototypes
• Ran user tests to explore needs, risks and possible solutions
• Built shared direction and learning in the team

A lot of this was quiet groundwork. Getting a team to agree on what the problem is sounds simple. It rarely is, and it pays off later.

Result

Rekrutteringstreff launched in spring 2026, and Nav now uses it to help more people into work.
